Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, boilers, chillers, pumps, and cooling towers.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services on HVAC systems according to industry best practices.
  • Install HVAC equipment and associated components, including ductwork, wiring, and piping.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing excellent customer service and explaining work completed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including OSHA standards and company policies.
  • Complete documentation and reports for all work performed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with other team members, attending training and mentorship sessions to maintain technical proficiency and safety standards.

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of previous experience (or 8,000 hours) in a similar HVAC Journeyman role, ideally within the commercial HVAC field.
  • Proficiency in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Ability to follow project blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (company vehicle and mileage reimbursement available).
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting heavy equipment, standing, and working in various weather conditions.

Schedule:
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, with overtime potential.
  • On-Call Rotation Schedule for nights and weekends with additional earning potential.

Work Location:
  • This role is primarily based in Cumming, GA, with travel to project sites as needed. Travel projects may include a per diem allowance.
