Job Overview:

nin construction is seeking an experienced, bilingual Construction Foreman/Team Lead to manage daily operations on high-end residential and select commercial construction projects. In this role, you'll be the face of nin construction on-site, directly interacting with clients and the company owner. This is an exciting opportunity for a foreman ready to lead, teach, and inspire a team while working hands-on in projects that demand the highest levels of craftsmanship, professionalism, and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and supervise a bilingual crew, fostering skill growth and maintaining team motivation and efficiency.
  • On-Site Company Representative: Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, tradespeople, and the project owner, ensuring seamless communication and project satisfaction.
  • Quality Control & Professionalism: Maintain the highest quality standards, ensuring all work aligns with the specifications of high-end projects and client expectations.
  • Project Layout & Execution: Read blueprints, perform layout tasks, and make on-the-spot quality decisions that exemplify your framing-to-finish carpentry expertise.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate professionally and clearly with high-end clients, addressing questions and providing progress updates.
  • Scope of Work: Lead projects in residential remodeling, kitchens, baths, new construction, drywall, paint, framing, and finish carpentry, with some small-scale commercial work as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA and lead safety standards, ensuring a secure work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years in construction, including 3+ years in leadership roles managing high-end residential projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in residential remodeling, framing to finish carpentry, and blueprint reading; experience with kitchen and bath projects is essential.
  • Bilingual Communication: Fluent in Spanish, with the ability to effectively converse with both clients and team members.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Ability to lead by example, demonstrate patience, and teach technical skills to enhance team performance.
  • Problem Solving: Make informed decisions on-site, ensuring both quality and client satisfaction.
  • Professional Discretion: Able to work respectfully and privately within high-end client homes, including NDA compliance as needed.
  • Equipment Operation: Experience with machinery, medium-light equipment, and performing tasks such as digging footings and setting forms is a plus.
  • Safety Certifications: OSHA and Lead Safety certifications are a plus.
