Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled residential HVAC Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment, duct installation as well as other products in accordance with company requirements and manufacturer specifications, maintenance, and repair of heating. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC technology and be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position will be able to lead a crew, work unsupervised during the day, read blueprints, install equipment, and communicate with the GC daily.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and ductwork.
  • Fabricates and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required
  • Be self-motivated and be able to make decisions that affect the project.
  • Use an ohmmeter to troubleshoot and test electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including filter replacements, coil cleaning, and lubricating moving parts. May tests systems to ensure proper functioning.
  • Complete all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough and timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Operate a company van to travel to job sites.
  • Meet deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Communicate with supervisor
  • Keep your company truck clean, inside and out
  • Maintains and cleans work area upon completion
  • Comply with company safety policies and adhere to industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with other service technicians to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an HVAC installer or service technician.
  • Kentucky HVAC Journeyman License
  • Universal EPA Certification
  • Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read installation plans/documents
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and be a part of a team
  • Positive attitude and a team player
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work at heights.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems.
  • Experience with plumbing and electrical systems is an asset.

Working Conditions:
  • Majority of work will take place at occupied residential homes and/or construction sites. Minimal time is spent in an office environment.
  • Regularly exposed to construction environments involving equipment, elevated work areas, confined spaces, noise, dust
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind)

Schedule
  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime opportunities available.

Work Location
