Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the installation of commercial HVAC systems in new construction projects, including ductwork, units, and control systems, with a focus on precision and efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians, working independently to manage projects efficiently.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians, offering guidance and training as needed, contributing to their training and professional growth.
  • Manage job site operations, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, other technicians, and subcontractors to ensure project timelines and quality goals are met.
  • Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting of HVAC/R systems, identifying and resolving issues.
  • Communicate directly with customer to explain job details, offer solutions, and provide recommendations.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Accurately complete and submit required documentation, such as installation reports and timecards.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including OSHA and fall protection guidelines.
  • Support team scheduling, ensuring optimal coverage for jobs.

Qualifications
  • Kentucky Journeyman License.(Preferred)
  •  EPA certification or Universal EPA Certification  (Required)
  • Proven experience in new construction HVAC installation.
  • Experience working independently as a lead technician, overseeing project execution.
  • Proven experience in commercial HVAC installation.
  • Advanced knowledge of HVAC/R systems and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and electrical components.
  • Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery and tools, including welding equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions, including confined spaces and heights.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel for projects, with per diem provided.

Schedule
  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
