    Job Summary:

    JRock Construction LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Concrete Estimator to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in our preconstruction phase, responsible for accurately estimating costs for construction projects. If you have a high level of competence in concrete and rebar estimation, along with strong computer skills and the ability to interpret project requirements, we encourage you to apply!

     
     

    Responsibilities:
    • Estimate costs for construction projects, with a focus on concrete, labor, material quantity, machine rentals, and rebar components.
    • Utilize construction estimating software, such as Planswift, to generate accurate cost estimates based on project specifications and requirements.
    • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, project dates, and commercial terms to ensure alignment with project goals.
    • Meet critical deadlines and work efficiently to produce accurate budgets promptly.
    • Collaborate with project stakeholders to analyze project requirements, identify potential challenges, and develop comprehensive estimates.

    Qualifications:
    • Experience: Proven hands-on experience in commercial concrete construction and rebar estimation.
      •  Must have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in concrete construction.
    • Concrete Construction: In-depth understanding of commercial concrete construction processes and techniques.
    • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, project schedules, and commercial terms.
    • Software Proficiency: Must have experience using estimating software such as Xactimate, PlanSwift, Tradesman, STACKT, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills with a strong focus on accuracy and detail.
    • Time Management: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage extended hours when necessary.
