    Complete Development Inc. is seeking a hardworking and reliable Dirt & Pipe Laborer to join our team in Central and South Florida. As a Dirt & Pipe Laborer, you will play a critical role in supporting construction projects, including earthwork, grading, and underground utilities. This hands-on position requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and a commitment to high-quality work.     Complete Development Inc. (CDI) is a full-service site contractor specializing in earthwork, grading, underground utilities (water, sewer, and storm), building pads, and fire lines. Operating since 1983, CDI is founded on Christian principles and is dedicated to providing excellence to its employees and clients. We are committed to integrity and high-quality work on private and public sector projects across Central and South Florida. 

     
     

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Construction Support:
      • Assist tradesmen and machine operators with tasks during construction projects.
      • Unload and carry materials at the construction site.
      • Operate or tend equipment and machines used in construction.
    • Site Preparation:
      • Clean and prepare job sites by removing debris and hazards.
      • Dig trenches, backfill holes, or compact earth for construction.
      • Prepare and apply materials such as cement, dirt, and crushed concrete to build structures or fill gaps.
    • Equipment Operation:
      • Use hand tools like shovels or picks and occasionally operate machinery.
      • Smooth and level new concrete or other materials.
    • Safety Compliance:
      • Place traffic signals where necessary and maintain a safe work environment.
    • General Maintenance:
      • Clean out sites of debris and discarded material.

    Qualifications:
    • Requirements:
      • Valid driver's license in good standing.
      • Reliable transportation to and from work or job sites.
      • Ability to pass a complete background check and pre-employment drug screening.
    • Preferred Skills:
      • Experience in dirt and pipe work or similar construction tasks.
      • Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various conditions.
      • Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction machinery.

    Work Schedule
    • 8- to 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
    • Overtime and weekend work as needed.
    • Holidays as required by project timelines.

    Work Location
    • Projects primarily in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Polk counties, with occasional work in Pinellas and Orange counties.
