    Key Responsibilities:
    • Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable,and  accounts receivable.
    • Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and reports to leadership.
    • Manage budgets, forecasts, and project cost analysis.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and union regulations regarding financial reporting.
    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Collaborate with project managers to monitor project financial health and profitability.
    • Reconcile accounts, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
    • Participate in audits and ensure documentation is accurate and readily available.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the construction industry.
    • Familiarity with prevailing wage projects and union reporting is a plus.
    • Strong proficiency with accounting software and tools (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

    Work Schedule:
    • Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime based on project needs.

    Work Location:
    • Edward and Jones Concrete Inc. headquarters and project sites. Some travel may be required.
