    R&B Roofing and Remodeling is seeking a highly skilled Roofing/Remodeling Estimator with experience in residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and remodeling, with the ability to accurately assess project costs, read blueprints, and deliver precise estimates. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects stay on budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.     Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to create accurate estimates.
    • Develop detailed project cost breakdowns, including materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
    • Prepare and present competitive bids for residential and commercial roofing and remodeling projects.
    • Conduct site visits to evaluate project scope, conditions, and potential challenges.
    • Work closely with clients, sales teams, and project managers to refine project budgets.
    • Analyze vendor pricing and negotiate cost-effective solutions while maintaining high quality.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and local building codes.
    • Use estimating software and tools to streamline calculations and documentation.
    • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure projects are accurately budgeted and executed.

    Qualifications:
    • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints is required.
    • Proven experience as an estimator in the roofing or remodeling industry (residential & commercial projects preferred).
    • Strong knowledge of construction materials, labor costs, and industry best practices.
    • Familiarity with estimating software and digital tools used in the industry.
    • Excellent mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to assess risks and foresee project challenges.
    • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
    • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
