    Job Title: Project Engineer - Doors, Frames, and Hardware
    Location:     Sonora, CA
    Job Type:     Full-Time
    Compensation:     $25 - $30+ per hour (Depending on Experience) + Profit Sharing

    Job Overview:
    The Project Engineer - Doors, Frames, and Hardware plays a crucial role in supporting project operations by tracking, analyzing, and communicating key deliverables. This is an entry-level position ideal for an intelligent and tech-savvy individual eager to develop expertise in project management within the architectural millwork industry. The Project Engineer will assist in estimating, procurement, and project coordination, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Assist the estimating team with take-offs and project development.
    • Support Project Managers in submittals, procurement, ordering, and close-out package preparation.
    • Maintain project schedules and coordinate deliverables with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
    • Develop product knowledge and master SAP's lifecycle and processes.
    • Receive, inspect, and manage vendor materials to ensure quality and compliance.
    • Prepare and manage dispatches for on-time delivery.
    • Conduct field inspections, take R/O measurements, participate in job walks, and document findings.
    • Assist with process engineering and contribute to LEAN development initiatives.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support overall company growth.

    Qualifications:
    • Proficiency with standard business software and technology.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize critical paths.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Tech-savvy with experience in emails, software applications, and digital tools.
    • Ability to travel to job sites as needed for field inspections and job walks.
    • A keen interest in learning and growing within the industry.

    Work Schedule & Location
    • Full-Time Position
    • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM PST
    • Work Location: Sonora, CA
    • Travel to project sites as required, with provided per diem
    • Relocation may be required prior to starting work
