    Job Overview

    The Contractor Consultants is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Wastewater Treatment Plant Foreman to lead critical infrastructure projects within the heavy civil construction sector. This role involves overseeing mechanical and wastewater treatment plant construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and within project specifications. The Foreman will work closely with the Superintendent and other field personnel to drive high-quality results while maintaining The Contractor Consultants's commitment to safety, integrity, and teamwork.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Safety & Compliance
      • Lead by example in enforcing company and client safety policies in collaboration with the Safety Department.
      • Conduct and oversee daily safety meetings and ensure all crew members follow safety protocols.
      • Complete and submit all required safety reports within 24 hours.
    • Construction Oversight
      • Interpret construction documents, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
      • Plan and implement daily and weekly work schedules, goals, and site logistics.
      • Oversee mechanical installations, piping, pumps, and treatment plant components to ensure proper function and compliance.
      • Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.
      • Conduct quality control checks to uphold The Contractor Consultants's high standards.
      • Maintain organized job sites, tools, and equipment, implementing anti-theft and security measures.
    • Leadership & Team Coordination
      • Supervise and mentor field crews, providing guidance and on-the-job training.
      • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
      • Maintain clear communication with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and key stakeholders.
      • Manage and track timecards, project documentation, and change orders.
      • Ensure timely submission of RFIs, purchase orders, submittals, and daily reports.

    Qualifications & Experience
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction, mechanical work, or wastewater treatment plant projects.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage crews effectively.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction contracts.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and project management software.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • Willingness to travel to remote project locations as required.

    Work Schedule & Location
