    Full Job Description:  

    Landscapes North is looking for hardworking and motivated team members to assist our crew in planting perennials and site maintenance (weeding, etc.) on a few properties. The job is physically demanding and involves moving up and down steep hillsides, getting down on the ground and back up again frequently, and working outside in the direct sun.  Knowledge of basic gardening practices (e.g. recognizing weeds, how to prune shrubs and trees) and previous experience in landscape maintenance are required.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Perform hands-on landscape maintenance, including weeding, pruning shrubs and trees, and planting perennials and shrubs.
    • Maintain the overall tidiness and aesthetic appeal of landscapes.
    • Identify and report irrigation issues or other landscape concerns to the supervisor.
    • Work efficiently on steep hillsides and uneven terrain, ensuring safety and precision.
    • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality results that exceed client expectations.

    Qualifications:
    • Experience: Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is required. Knowledge of basic gardening practices (e.g., weed identification, pruning techniques) is essential.
    • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, kneeling, and working in direct sunlight for extended periods.
    • Work Ethic: Strong sense of responsibility, dependability, and a team-player attitude.
    • Driving Requirements: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (no DUIs) are mandatory.
