    Job Overview

    CJS Landscape is seeking a motivated and skilled Landscape/Hardscape Foreman to oversee and execute residential, commercial, and government projects. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong technical background and the ability to manage teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, safely, and to the highest quality. You will play a critical role in delivering exceptional landscapes and hardscapes that exceed client expectations.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Team Leadership: Guide, teach, and motivate crew members to perform efficiently and safely.
    • Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee job layouts with minimal assistance, ensuring compliance with blueprints and as-built procedures.
    • Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact with clients, ensuring their satisfaction through excellent communication and results.
    • Material Handling: Track material quantities, handle installations, and ensure accurate daily progress reporting.
    • Equipment Management: Operate and maintain small and large equipment; train team members on proper usage.
    • Quality Assurance: Ensure projects meet or exceed quality standards the first time.
    • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety procedures and operate tools and equipment responsibly.

    Qualifications
    • Experience: Proven track record in landscape and hardscape projects, including blueprint reading and as-built documentation.
    • Skills: Proficient in driving dump trucks with trailers, operating small and large equipment, and performing skilled landscaping tasks.
    • Leadership: Ability to motivate, train, and lead a team toward goal-oriented, high-quality results.
    • Licensing: Clean driving record with six points or less. minimum, CDL  preferred
    • Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting materials, traveling to job sites, and performing physically demanding tasks.

    Work Schedule
    • Full-time, Monday to Friday.
    • 8-10 hour shifts, with no weekend work required in season.
    • Year-round employment.
