    Job Overview:

    Motor City Landscaping Design Build is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to lead our talented team in delivering high-quality residential and commercial landscaping projects.     Key Responsibilities:
    • Leadership & Supervision:
      • Lead and manage a team of landscape professionals to execute projects efficiently.
      • Train, mentor, and develop crew members to ensure quality workmanship.
      • Foster a positive, motivated, and team-oriented work environment.
    • Project Execution & Management:
      • Oversee landscape construction projects, including hardscaping, plantings, grading, irrigation systems, and drainage solutions.
      • Read and interpret blueprints, design plans, and technical drawings to execute project tasks.
      • Maintain productivity, track project progress, and report updates to management.
    • Equipment & Material Handling:
      • Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are available and in proper working condition.
      • Operate heavy machinery such as skid steers, backhoes, and loaders when necessary.
      • Manage material orders and deliveries to ensure project timelines stay on track.
    • Safety & Quality Control:
      • Enforce and maintain safety protocols and industry standards on job sites.
      • Conduct regular inspections to ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with specifications.
      • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
    • Documentation & Reporting:
      • Accurately log work progress, time sheets, and material usage.
      • Provide regular updates to management regarding project challenges, timelines, and crew performance.

    Qualifications:
    • Experience & Skills:
      • Three to five years of experience in landscape construction, hardscaping, or site work.
      • Proven experience in a crew leader or foreman role preferred.
      • Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
      • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and technical drawings.
      • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
      • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Certifications & Licensing:
      • Valid driver's license required (Chauffeur's or CDL a plus).
      • Certifications in landscape construction, irrigation, safety training (OSHA), or fall protection are a plus.
    • Physical Requirements:
      • Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and work in various outdoor conditions.
      • Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and operate equipment for extended periods.

    Work Schedule & Location:
