    Job Overview:

    Valley Earth and Pipe LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Grade Foreman to lead our grading crews in commercial, industrial, and government site development projects. This role requires hands-on leadership, ensuring grading operations are executed with precision, efficiency, and safety.     Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead and supervise grading crews on-site, ensuring all work meets project specifications and deadlines.
    • Operate and oversee the use of late-model heavy equipment for grading and earthwork operations.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grading specifications.
    • Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to coordinate jobsite activities.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and enforce best practices for a secure work environment.
    • Train and mentor crew members in grading techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
    • Monitor material usage, equipment efficiency, and overall job progress.
    • Address and resolve grading challenges, making necessary adjustments to maintain project efficiency.
    • Communicate project updates and concerns with leadership to ensure seamless operations.
    • Maintain a clean and organized job site, following all environmental and regulatory guidelines.

    Qualifications:
    • Experience in a similar grading or foreman role (we are willing to train on our methods).
    • Strong knowledge of site development, grading techniques, and heavy equipment operation.
    • Ability to read and understand grading plans, blueprints, and survey stakes.
    • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
    • Willingness to travel for projects, with per diem provided.
