    Job Overview:

    American Leak Detection is seeking a Plumbing Service Dispatcher with proven experience in customer service or dispatching and a strong background in the plumbing service industry. This role is essential in coordinating service appointments, efficiently dispatching technicians, and ensuring excellent customer experiences.     Key Responsibilities:
    • Customer Interaction: Answer inbound customer calls, record detailed information, and provide accurate assistance with a professional and reassuring phone presence.
    • Scheduling & Dispatching: Schedule service appointments and efficiently dispatch technicians throughout NC and Central VA, ensuring optimal routing and timely service delivery.
    • Service Coordination: Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and managers to ensure seamless service operations.
    • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of service calls, work orders, and customer interactions.
    • Technical Support: Utilize mapping tools and geographical knowledge for efficient technician routing.
    • Administrative Tasks: Perform basic mathematical calculations for pricing, discounts, and invoices.
    • Software Utilization: Work with various software programs, including Word, Excel, Service Titan, Salesforce, and Google Sheets.

    Qualifications & Experience:
    • Required Experience:
      • Proven experience in a customer service or dispatching role.
      • Service industry plumbing experience and knowledge is mandatory
    • Preferred Experience:
      • Background in plumbing, restoration, or construction industries.
      • Familiarity with Salesforce or Service Titan software.
    • Skills & Competencies:
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
      • Ability to handle high-stress situations professionally.
    • Additional Requirements:
      • Valid driver's license for site visits (if required).
      • Must pass a background check prior to employment.

    Work Schedule:
    • Full-Time (40 hours per week)
