    Job Overview

    American Leak Detection is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. This role is responsible for answering customer inquiries, scheduling service appointments, and dispatching technicians to jobs throughout NC and Central VA. With over 50 years of experience, we specialize in locating water, sewer, gas, and swimming pool leaks using advanced technology. Our satisfied customers include homeowners, commercial businesses, municipalities, and industry professionals such as plumbers, contractors, and insurance adjusters.

     
     

    Key Responsibilities
    • Answer inbound customer calls, record detailed information, and provide accurate assistance.
    • Schedule service appointments and dispatch technicians efficiently.
    • Maintain detailed records of service calls and work orders.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and managers.
    • Perform basic mathematical calculations for pricing, discounts, and invoices.
    • Use mapping tools and knowledge of geographical areas for routing technicians.
    • Work with various software programs, including Word, Excel, Service Titan, Salesforce, and Google Sheets.
    • Stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and handle high-stress situations professionally.

    Qualifications
    • Previous experience in a customer service or dispatching role preferred.
    • Must have service industry plumbing experience and knowledge.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent customer service skills with a professional and reassuring phone presence.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Experience in plumbing, restoration, or construction industries is a plus but not required.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce or Service Titan is a plus but not required.
    • Must pass a background check prior to employment.

    Work Schedule
    • Full-time, 40+ hours per week
    • Monday to Friday (occasional after-hours or weekend availability may be required)
