Doerre Construction Co., LLC seeks a dynamic and experienced Manager of Preconstruction to play a key leadership role in preparing bids, budgets, and proposals that win new business. This pivotal position ensures seamless project transitions from preconstruction to operations while upholding Doerre's commitment to excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Bid Leadership: Prepare all bids, budgets, and proposals for new business opportunities and client presentations.
  • Plan Review: Conduct detailed drawing reviews for sub invitations, constructability, value analysis, schedule development, and scope understanding.
  • Cost Management: Develop precise cost estimates, clarifications, and schedules for each project; respond to RFPs and bid/budget requests.
  • Project Transition: Organize and lead transition meetings between project operations and preconstruction teams.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years in commercial construction, with projects ranging from $1M - $15M.
  • Expertise in civil, architectural, structural, and MEP plans/blueprints and specifications.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of estimating, takeoff processes, and all 16 divisions of construction.
  • Preferred experience in retail, renovation, automotive, restaurant, office/medical, and light industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Takeoff software, MS Project, and Office Suite.
  • Project Management and/or Superintendent field experience is a plus, with a desire to fully focus on Preconstruction.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
