Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, tech-savvy, and highly coachable Sports Surface Sales Representative to join our team. This individual will lead the charge in generating and converting leads for site-specific sports surface projects (e.g., tennis courts, multi-sport surfaces, gym floors). The ideal candidate has a proven track record of self-generating leads, selling complex and tailored B2B/B2G projects, and guiding clients through a consultative sales process..

Key Responsibilities
  •  Lead Generation & Pipeline Management - Proactively and creatively generate new leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and strategic marketing.
    Maintain a robust, self-generated pipeline and manage all opportunities through the CRM system.
  • Consultative Selling - Conduct discovery calls, site evaluations, and client consultations to understand client needs and design custom solutions. Communicate the value of our services by highlighting how we bridge the gap between a client's current facility and their ideal sports environment. Present proposals and close deals with a strong understanding of margins and profitability.
  • Technical Product Knowledge - Develop deep expertise in Total Tennis' product and service lines, including timelines, logistics, and coordination with internal teams. Collaborate with multiple trades and internal departments to ensure proper project scoping and delivery.
  • CRM & Sales Process Management - Maintain accurate records and client interactions in CRM (Outlook, Excel, CRM platforms, etc.). Use scripts and communication frameworks to effectively convey service value. Read and respond to RFPs and bid documents, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specs.
  • Team Collaboration - Work closely with estimators, operations, and install teams to ensure smooth transitions and project clarity. Participate in internal strategy meetings and contribute insights to help refine the sales approach.

Key Requirements:
Must Haves:
  • Highly coachable with a growth mindset-motivated to improve and adapt.
  • Proven ability to self-generate leads and successfully manage a customer pipeline.
  • Demonstrated success selling comparable services (construction, sports surfacing, etc.).
  • Exceptionally organized with high attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with technology-Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and AI-based sales platforms.

Preferred skills and Experience:
  • Experience in B2B and B2G sales cycles with long-term engagement timelines.
  • Background in project-based selling requiring discovery and phased implementation.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and bid documents.
  • Strong math skills (area, volume, material calculations).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and creative problem-solving abilities.
