    LD Construction is on the hunt for a dedicated and skilled Lead Carpenter to join our growing team. This role involves managing a team of 3-4 people and working on multiple projects at once. Our specialization in ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) construction makes this an exciting opportunity to work on innovative residential and commercial projects.     Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage and lead a team of 3-4 people to ensure project efficiency.
    • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to meet design requirements.
    • Measure, cut, and assemble wood, metal, or other materials for construction or repairs.
    • Install flooring, doors, windows, cabinetry, and drywall with precision.
    • Work collaboratively with a team to execute ICF construction projects efficiently.
    • Maintain a safe and organized worksite, adhering to company and industry safety standards.
    • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
    • Assist with training and mentoring junior team members.
    • Simultaneously manage multiple projects to ensure timelines and goals are met.

    Qualifications:
    • Red Seal Certification (preferred).
    • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in residential or commercial construction.
    • Experience with ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms) is required; experience with building foundations is a plus.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
    • Must have basic hand tools.
