    Four Seasons Kanga Roof is seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to lead and manage roofing projects in a range of environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial. You'll oversee field operations, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and mentor a skilled crew while contributing to projects that make a lasting impact.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Review all work orders and material orders before a job is scheduled to ensure all materials and equipment needed for the project are available.
    • Schedule delivery of materials, equipment, and dumpsters to job sites.
    • Review jobs with foremen to ensure they understand they own the budget.
    • Coordinate schedules to meet project manager expectations.
    • Provide project managers with necessary information for change orders or additional work.
    • Conduct safety inspections and ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
    • Ensure roofs are installed according to Four Seasons Kanga Roof and manufacturer standards.
    • Perform final inspections and quality control on all projects.
    • Review all plans and specifications to ensure clarity on project requirements.
    • Discipline field crews when necessary and set clear expectations for foremen and team members.
    • Schedule crews, dumpsters, materials, and equipment to operate efficiently and safely.
    • Approve production plans for projects and monitor/manage materials for each.
    • Utilize company systems for paperwork administration, documentation, and reporting as needed.

    Qualifications
    • Minimum of 5 years of roofing experience, with a focus on similar leadership roles.
    • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
    • Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding manufacturer specifications.
    • Competence with technology, including job management and scheduling tools.
    • Physical capability to set up ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and work on rooftops in various weather conditions.
    • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

    Work Schedule
    • Full-time position, Monday to Friday. Saturday availability may be required.

    Work Location
    • Based in Southeast Michigan, with travel between job sites.
