    Advantage Excavating LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated CDL Class A Driver to join our team. This position offers local driving with a focus on operating a side dump, meaning no long hauls or out-of-town work. We are looking for a responsible, safety-conscious driver who values a predictable schedule and steady local work.     Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Operate a CDL Class A side dump truck for local projects, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of materials.
    • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
    • Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations.
    • Assist with loading and unloading materials as necessary, maintaining a strong focus on safety.
    • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, promptly reporting any mechanical issues.
    • Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely delivery and project success.
    • Complete daily logs and other required documentation accurately.

    The ideal candidate should possess:
    • Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
    • Proven experience driving a side dump truck or similar heavy vehicles.
    • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and local driving laws.
    • Ability to perform minor truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Physical capability to perform duties that may include loading/unloading materials.
    • Local residency or willingness to commute; no out-of-town travel required.

    Schedule:
    • Full-time
