Job Overview
Hollywood Building Services is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth efforts across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. In this role, you'll identify and secure new business opportunities within commercial cleaning, janitorial, maintenance, construction, and electrical services. Your ability to build strong relationships with property and facility management decision-makers will be key to success. You'll collaborate closely with leadership and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and qualify leads in key industries including commercial real estate, property management, healthcare, hospitality, retail, and education.
  • Conduct outreach through cold calls, referrals, networking events, trade shows, and digital channels.
  • Create and deliver persuasive proposals and tailored service presentations.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and track performance through CRM systems (Salesforce/HubSpot).
  • Foster long-term relationships that encourage renewals and service expansion.
  • Represent the company at industry events to promote brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop messaging, social media content, and digital engagement.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to inform strategy.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in facility services, janitorial, HVAC, construction, or related industries.
  • Established relationships with property/facility management in NYC, Westchester, North Jersey, and CT.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation and deal closure.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot).
  • Knowledge of service contracts, scopes of work, and maintenance budgeting.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
  • Flexible schedule availability for client meetings or events as needed.

Schedule
  • Full-Time | Monday-Friday
  • Occasional evenings or weekends for client meetings or events
