Titus Contracting Inc is seeking a seasoned, visionary leader to step into the role of Senior Vice President of Operations and Business Development. This executive-level position combines operational oversight with strategic growth leadership, driving both internal performance and external expansion. The ideal candidate will bring deep construction industry experience, proven success leading a company or major division, and a passion for shaping teams, systems, and market growth. Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Leadership
    • Oversee daily operations and performance across all divisions
    • Establish and align short-term objectives with long-term strategic goals
    • Ensure seamless collaboration between sales, design, production, and marketing teams
    • Direct and support department heads, fostering accountability and clear communication
    • Monitor project profitability and division-level financial performance
    • Lead quarterly 'PULSE' meetings and assign accountability champions for key improvement areas
    • Promote a unified, team-first company culture
  • Business Development & Growth
    • Drive revenue growth and market expansion strategies
    • Analyze industry trends and identify new business opportunities
    • Negotiate and develop partnerships with trade vendors and subcontractors
    • Represent the company in key client, vendor, and trade relationships
    • Ensure consistent messaging and performance across client-facing teams
  • Financial Oversight
    • Monitor company-wide financial health and ensure adequate funding structures
    • Review financials with department leaders and take corrective action when needed
    • Lead planning and reporting processes with ownership and senior staff
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
    • Oversee senior leadership team and divisional managers
    • Conduct performance reviews and coach direct reports
    • Lead employment decisions and succession planning at the senior level

Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with significant executive or senior leadership experience
  • Proven experience growing or leading a construction business or major division
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and business development skills
  • Strategic thinker with high financial and operational acumen
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and process-driven
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required
