Job Overview
Valtex LLC is seeking skilled Commercial Carpenter to join our growing field operations team. As a Commercial Carpenter, you will contribute to the successful completion of commercial construction projects by performing framing, installation, and finishing work under the guidance of site leadership. This role is ideal for hardworking individuals who take pride in their craft, follow instructions carefully, and enjoy working as part of a diverse crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry tasks including measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood, metal, and other building materials.
• Assist in framing walls, floors, roofs, and other structural elements.
• Read and follow project plans, drawings, and instructions from supervisors.
• Work collaboratively with other crew members to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines at all times.
• Support foremen and superintendents with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of carpentry experience.
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction plans and measurements.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to take direction and complete tasks efficiently.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work well alongside a diverse crew.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various conditions.

Schedule

• Full-Time, Monday - Friday
• Occasional overtime or weekend work as project schedules require

Work Location

• Based in Fort Myers, FL
• Projects located in Southwest Florida; travel may be required for certain jobs with per diem provided
