Job Overview

Coastal Marine Construction, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety & Compliance Manager to lead our health and safety efforts across a diverse range of marine and coastal construction sites. In this critical role, you will design, implement, and monitor safety programs that ensure regulatory compliance and promote a culture of safety from the office to the field. You'll play a key part in protecting the well-being of our team and ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of occupational health and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute health and safety plans aligned with project-specific guidelines and company objectives.
  • Prepare and enforce comprehensive safety policies to establish a culture of safety on every site.
  • Inspect practices, procedures, and job sites to assess risks and ensure full regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct employee training and deliver safety presentations on procedures and accident prevention.
  • Monitor and audit compliance through regular inspections of personnel, operations, equipment, and machinery.
  • Lead investigations for on-site incidents or accidents and assist in managing worker's compensation claims.
  • Provide clear reporting on safety statistics, concerns, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with field and project leadership to integrate safety into planning and execution.
  • Recommend new measures or technologies to improve site safety and compliance outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Safety or Compliance Manager in construction or heavy civil environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and occupational health standards.
  • Proven ability to develop safety documentation, conduct audits, and lead investigations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and training skills for diverse field and office teams.
  • Strong organizational and motivational abilities; attention to detail is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • CPR Certification - Required
  • OSHA 30 Certification - Required

Full-Time | Monday - Friday

Work Location
Onsite | Based in Stoughton, MA with visits to coastal and marine job sites as needed
