Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair gas fireplaces in residential homes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with gas appliances, venting systems, and controls.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks to ensure code compliance.
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs, maintenance needs, and operation of fireplaces.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Keep vehicle and tools organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Adhere to company and industry safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in ongoing training and stay current with product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred in fireplace, HVAC, gas appliances, or related fields.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot gas systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
