Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Sales and Lead Generation
- Proactively generate residential roofing leads via canvassing, referrals, and networking.
- Perform detailed roof inspections to assess storm or age-related damage.
- Present roofing services, materials, and warranties in a compelling, customer-focused manner.
- Close contracts with a high level of professionalism and customer confidence.
- Insurance Claims Process
- Guide homeowners through filing and managing roof-related insurance claims.
- Liaise with insurance adjusters and provide photo documentation and reports.
- Advocate for fair claim approvals to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Build trust-based relationships with homeowners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Educate customers on roofing types, such as asphalt shingles, metal, and tile.
- Provide ongoing communication and timely updates.
- Product & Industry Knowledge
- Maintain expertise in roofing products, installation practices, and safety protocols.
- Stay informed on trends and best practices in roofing and exterior remodeling.
The Ideal Candidate Should Possess:
- Proven track record in residential roofing sales
- In-depth understanding of homeowners' insurance claims and how to manage them
- Strong sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with roofing systems, materials, and regional building practices
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Tech-savvy with experience using apps for documentation and lead tracking
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
Compensation:
- Initial Commission (First 90 Days): 10% of total cost of each roof replacement
- After 90 Days (with 4+ sales/month): Increased to 12% commission
- Performance-Based Increase: 15% commission for consistent monthly performance (7+ sales/month)
- Minimum Expectation: 4 approved sales per month after the first 90 days
Schedule:
- Independent Schedule - Flexible
- Minimum of 4 sales per month required after initial ramp-up period
