Blue Ridge Heating & Air, a trusted residential HVAC contractor serving Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina, is looking for a reliable and highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems with occasional support on installations. You'll operate independently in the field, delivering top-tier customer service and technical expertise while mentoring less experienced team members. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC-related equipment per manufacturer specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance on residential HVAC systems.
• Experience with IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) products such as dehumidifies etc. preferred
• Document service work, materials, and equipment history in digital records.
• Maintain strong communication and professionalism with customers.
• Train and assist junior technicians when needed.
• Keep the assigned company vehicle clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Occasionally assist in residential installations as business needs require.
• Ability to sell HVAC systems is a plus; paid training provided if interested

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Certification (Required).
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
• Valid driver's license with insurable record.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• Proficient in troubleshooting HVAC electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Skilled with power tools, diagnostic equipment, and HVAC components.
• Familiarity with residential electrical and plumbing systems.
• Self-directed, dependable, and team-oriented.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday to Friday with occasional flexibility for urgent service needs
• On-call rotation every 3rd week required

Work Location

• Based in Greenville, SC, servicing residential clients throughout Upstate SC.
