Job Overview:
KAD Construction Inc seeks an experienced and driven Commercial Electrical Foreman to oversee a range of commercial electrical projects. The Commercial Electrical Foreman will lead electrical teams, ensure projects are completed on time, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires flexibility, multitasking, and thinking on your feet.  Foreman will coordinate projects, manage safety, and communicate needs and issues to the superintendent. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement work strategies based on project blueprints, specifications, and wiring diagrams.
• Oversee, supervise, and provide guidance to a team of electricians and apprentices.
• Ensure projects are executed within timelines and budgets, maintaining high quality and adherence to local codes and regulations.
• Perform hands-on electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repairs.
• Conduct safety meetings, enforce safety standards, and provide necessary safety equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, diagnose issues, and develop effective solutions.
• Communicate effectively with Superintendents, Project Managers, VP of Field Management, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
• Train and mentor electricians on technical skills and safety practices.
• Review and maintain accurate records, including as-built drawings and project documentation.
• Manage the procurement and inventory of electrical components and materials.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an electrical foreman, with expertise in managing electrical projects and leading teams.
• Experience working on Commercial Projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and wiring schematics.
• Competency in using an iPad and other digital tools to access project documentation and specifications.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical plans.
• Driver's License Required
• Spanish Proficiency Preferred
• Journeyman Electrical License preferred.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
• Weekend work required based on project demands.

Work Location:
Office Based in Raleigh, NC.  Position requires travel to various project sites within the triangle area.  Not an office position.
