Full Job Description
The Construction Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting the financial health of the company through project cost analysis, budgeting and reporting. This position will also assist with processing and tracking invoices and expenses in both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), as well as monitoring and reporting on employee hours. The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized and ready to support both field and office operations with timely and accurate financial information.

We are experienced in all types of commercial construction including educational, office, mixed use, golf club, industrial, multi-family, hospitality, residential and many other types of facilities. We provide preconstruction and construction management services, and all team members work in both aspects. We are builders at heart and truly emphasize owner satisfaction, quality, and safety on our projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Analyze and track financial performance across multiple construction projects.
• Assist with processing invoices and tracking expenses within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Monitor and report employee hours for job costing and payroll purposes.
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process for projects and overall company operations.
• Prepare financial reports and dashboard for internal teams and leadership.
• Collaborate with project managers and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Help maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Assist in evaluating subcontractor invoices and supplier costs for accuracy.
• Contribute to improving financial systems, workflows and reporting processes

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in construction or project-based environment
• Knowledge of job costing principles and construction billing practices
• CPA, CMA or similar certifications (or progression towards one) is a plus
• Quickbooks, Procore, UDA experience is a plus
