In this customer-facing role, you'll guide residential and commercial clients through flooring product selection, develop tailored solutions, and drive sales revenue. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Consult with residential and commercial customers to assess flooring needs, preferences, and budgets.
• Apply product knowledge to recommend appropriate materials such as hardwood, laminate, vinyl, carpet, and tile.
• Calculate accurate room measurements and prepare professional quotes.
• Process sales orders and coordinate installation scheduling.
• Maintain a customer-first attitude throughout the sales and post-sale experience.
• Stay up-to-date with flooring trends, new products, and industry best practices.
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
• Collaborate with installation crews to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Proven sales experience, ideally in flooring, interior design, or home improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail for quoting and measurement accuracy.
• Proficiency with order entry and CRM systems.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Physical capability to lift flooring samples and assist customers on-site.
• A self-starter mindset with the discipline to work independently.
