Pool Care Specialists of Central FL LLC is urgently seeking a Repair Technician to support our growing team in Orlando. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in pool systems or similar trades, who thrives on solving problems and delivering high-quality service. As a Repair Technician, you'll troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair pool systems while helping us expand our capacity and build long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Diagnose and repair residential pool systems, including pumps, filters, heaters, automation, and more.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on pool equipment.
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions with minimal oversight.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain findings, repairs, and options.
• Maintain service logs using company-issued smartphones or tablets.
• Provide support for warranty and manufacturer-related service tasks.
• Assist in the identification and recommendation of equipment upgrades or replacements.
• Support the team by participating in technical training and cross-functional assistance as needed.
• Travel to job sites using a company-provided vehicle.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of pool cleaning or pool-related experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Willing to train Candidate with transferable skills (i.e. plumbing, electrical, mechanical and who are familiar with troubleshooting and technology)
• Strong knowledge of pool systems and components, with the ability to demonstrate troubleshooting capabilities.
• Candidates with certifications or licenses from PHTA, WU, or similar industry organizations will be considered strong applicants.
• Additional relevant experience may include roles in:
  • Pool construction or remodeling
  • Plumbing or electrical trades
  • HVAC or LP (Liquid Petroleum) systems
• Recognized Florida licenses such as CPC, LP Qualifier, EC, CFC, CGC, CRC, or CBC are a plus and may qualify for enhanced compensation.
• Critical thinking, adaptability, and technical curiosity are must-haves.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a customer-focused mindset.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be comfortable working outdoors.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but English communication skills are required.
• Basic technical proficiency (tech-heavy role)

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Hours may vary based on workload and service area
• Overtime available as needed
