Job Overview
Clauser Tree Care is looking for a skilled Tree Climber to join our crane crew, working on residential and commercial properties throughout Bucks and Montgomery counties. This role is designed for an experienced climber who understands the precision, teamwork, and safety required to perform tree removals in conjunction with crane operations. Even if you haven't worked directly on a crane crew but have the right climbing experience and rigging expertise, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Climb and dismantle trees in conjunction with crane operations
• Perform tree removals and limb rigging with awareness of shock load distribution
• Prune trees according to ANSI A300 standards, using proper techniques without spikes
• Coordinate closely with crane operators and ground crew for safe, efficient removal
• Operate or assist with bucket truck work (experience a plus but not required)
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all PPE protocols
• Participate in daily crew briefings and safety meetings
• Complete job site setup, tree assessment, and post-job clean-up as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of tree climbing experience (required)
• Experience working on a crane crew preferred but not mandatory
• Team-oriented with strong communication and situational awareness
• Familiarity with bucket trucks and aerial lift operations is a bonus
• Valid driver's license (preferred) and ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card
• Commitment to safety and following PPE and company policies

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• 40-50 hours per week
