This critical role is responsible for managing workflow, supervising skilled craftsmen, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a productive, safe, and efficient shop environment.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Supervise day-to-day production operations in the millwork shop
• Manage and mentor a team of skilled millworkers, ensuring accountability and performance
• Coordinate and schedule project workloads and timelines to meet deadlines
• Ensure all custom work is completed to specification, quality, and safety standards
• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications for job planning and execution
• Enforce safe work practices and maintain a clean, organized shop
• Collaborate with project managers and estimators to anticipate and resolve production challenges
• Monitor materials inventory and coordinate procurement needs with purchasing
• Train new team members and conduct cross-training to strengthen the workforce
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and oversee maintenance scheduling

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in custom millwork, including cabinetry, panels, fixtures, and trims
• Proven supervisory or foreman-level experience in a woodshop or production environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production documentation
• Deep understanding of woodworking tools, machines, materials, and safety procedures
• Effective communication and team leadership skills
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
• Willingness to take initiative and solve problems on the fly

• Full-Time
