Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the total field effort on assigned projects to ensure the highest quality of work, optimal personnel performance, and that budget and schedule requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with all company, departmental, and technical policies, procedures, and safety standards. Implement and interpret safety programs as needed
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise plumbing crews, subcontractors, and construction equipment to maximize productivity on the job site.
- Initiate and manage work schedules to ensure the timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Routinely review project drawings and specifications to ensure that all work aligns with project plans.
- Ensure subcontractors and suppliers comply with all project specifications, codes, and timelines.
- Document any changes made by architects or owners, obtaining timely approval from the project manager as required.
- Schedule all necessary inspections and coordinate any required testing.
- Serve as the primary safety representative on the project, reporting all accidents and completing first-report paperwork.
- Collaborate with the project manager and office manager to review construction schedules, pay requests, and job cost reports.
- Schedule materials and suppliers to ensure that project needs are met in a timely manner.
- Monitor and adjust manpower requirements to meet established project schedules.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of field experience in plumbing
- Experience in public works or commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of construction and plumbing plans
- Organizational and leadership skills
- Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, Revit, or AutoCAD is a plus
- Willingness to help grow the company
