Petroleum Services Inc, a trusted name in Connecticut's commercial construction industry, is urgently seeking Petroleum Construction Field Technician to join our team. We are looking for hardworking individuals with prior construction experience-particularly those familiar with concrete work, piping, and small machinery. We specialize in underground storage tank installation, removal, and fuel system construction. Our team is known for high standards, craftsmanship, and mentorship. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist in site work, demolition, and underground fuel tank replacements
• Install and replace petroleum piping systems
• Operate small machinery such as bobcats, rollers, and mini excavators
• Perform concrete cutting, forming, pouring, and shoring
• Work in trenches and in all weather conditions
• Load trucks and travel to job sites with the team
• Maintain job site safety and cleanliness
• Take initiative and support your team in day-to-day tasks

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A valid CT Driver's License
• Construction or civil site work experience
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• P8 license preferred (we can help with certification)
• OSHA certification is a plus
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform manual labor
• Reliable transportation to the shop in Plantsville
• Positive attitude and willingness to work hard and work safe

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Monday to Friday
• Occasional weekend or overtime as needed, based on project demand

Work Location:

Based in Plantsville, CT - projects located statewide, with occasional work in Massachusetts. Crews depart from the shop daily. Home every night.
