Job Overview:
SAI Fountains is actively seeking an experienced, hands-on Superintendent to lead the construction of custom commercial water features, fountains, pools, and specialty installations across the country. This position is entirely field-based, requiring full-time travel with per diem, accommodations, and flights provided. As the Superintendent, you'll manage complex, multi-trade job sites involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, concrete, and masonry disciplines. You'll play a critical role in meeting project milestones, budget targets, and quality standards while building breathtaking architectural features that define public and private spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all on-site construction activity, ensuring timely, high-quality, and on-budget completion of projects.
  • Supervise and coordinate SAI field laborers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and OSHA standards; halt work when safety is compromised.
  • Communicate directly with the Project Manager and Vice President of Construction for planning, updates, and coordination.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly progress meetings.
  • Lead job site preparation, staging, daily production, and close-out activities.
  • Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently as required.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports in project management software.
  • Conduct material inspections and document delivery conditions.
  • Support scheduling, sequencing, and documentation through two-week lookahead planning.
  • Manage customer relations and uphold company values on-site.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience supervising commercial construction projects, ideally involving water features or pools.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, concrete, and masonry systems.
  • Proficient in reading construction plans, specifications, and local building codes.
  • OSHA 30 Certification required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and proven ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively (travel home every 2 weeks unless project requires otherwise).
  • Must be comfortable working in outdoor environments with varying weather conditions.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing standard construction site physical tasks.

Schedule:
