Job Overview:
AR SIMS Heating & Air Conditioning Inc is seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a technician with strong technical expertise and at least three years of hands-on HVAC experience. You'll work with systems ranging from 5 to 150 tons, performing diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installations on both commercial and residential units. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain commercial/residential HVAC systems (5-150 tons)
• Perform timely and high-quality service calls and system installations
• Install ductwork in commercial and residential settings
• Provide accurate estimates for repair or replacement work
• Maintain open communication with clients and internal staff
• Use and maintain company-provided tools, vehicles, and tech equipment
• Complete all required documentation, including service logs and timesheets
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all job sites
• Participate in ongoing team meetings, training sessions, and mentorship

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
• EPA Certification (Required)
• Proven experience in ductwork installation
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Motivated team player with a high standard of work ethic
• Willingness to travel for projects (with per diem provided)
• Able to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to provide own basic hand tools (required)

Compensation & Perks:

• $30-$35/hour depending on experience
