You'll estimate large-scale flat roofing projects across NYC and NYS, handle project documentation, and contribute to the development of high-quality roofing systems for commercial and industrial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare estimates for commercial flat roofing systems across NYC and NYS
• Level bids and ensure competitive pricing prior to contract awards
• Order materials based on finalized project scopes
• Prepare submittals and shop drawings post-award
• Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to align technical requirements
• Participate in project kickoff meetings and coordinate with operations teams
• Stay current on roofing trends, systems, and manufacturer requirements

Required Qualifications:

• For Senior Role: 5+ years of experience in roofing estimation, preferably in new construction
• For Junior Role: 1+ years of experience in roofing estimation and a strong work ethic with willingness to be trained
• Experience estimating flat roofing systems from major manufacturers (Soprema, Siplast, Johns Manville, Firestone, Carlisle)
• Knowledge of IRMA, Built-Up, Single Ply, and Liquid Roofing Systems
• Familiarity with rooftop paver systems and sheet metal takeoffs
• Strong understanding of submittals, shop drawings, and the bid-to-award process
• Must have prior roof-specific industry experience
