Job Overview
Freedom Stone+Pondscapes LLC is seeking a highly skilled and dependable individual to join our team in a Stone Mason / Equipment Operator role. This position requires a specialized set of abilities, including stone milling, loading, equipment operation, and customer interaction at our Drexel, Missouri facility. As a key player in our hardscaping and supply chain operations, you'll work hands-on with raw and custom-cut stone, operate heavy equipment, manage site organization, and ensure timely, safe, and professional service for our stone clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Mill, saw, split, and handle various types of stone for hardscape use.
• Operate stone crushers, skid loaders, excavators, and other heavy machinery.
• Accurately measure and cut stone using tape measures, laser levels, and 4' levels.
• Load/unload delivery trucks; coordinate with suppliers and manage deliveries.
• Interact professionally with stone customers-showcase inventory and load orders.
• Harvest boulders at Main City and manage raw stone inventory.
• Keep trucks, tools, and equipment clean, maintained, and ready for daily operation.
• Execute all tasks safely, ethically, and with attention to detail.
• Collaborate directly with Bob Kerr, the business owner, on operations and logistics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in stone milling, splitting, or related stone operations.
• Skilled in heavy equipment operation-skid loaders, excavators, and crushers.
• Ability to communicate with clients and vendors professionally and effectively.
• Detail-oriented with accurate measurement and leveling skills.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a commitment to safety.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working outdoors and lifting heavy materials.
• Must be organized, dependable, and take pride in the appearance of tools/equipment.

Schedule

• Full-Time, Year-Round
• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Some Saturday work required depending on weekly weather and project demands

• Primary location: Shop in Drexel, MO
• Serving projects throughout Kansas City, MO & Northwest Arkansas
