Pondosa Projects is hiring an enthusiastic Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our growing portfolio of unique residential and commercial renovation projects. Based in Baltimore City and surrounding urban communities, this role is ideal for someone who has some construction experience-or simply a strong work ethic-and is looking to grow into a leadership role. You'll work side-by-side with seasoned professionals and gain hands-on experience managing field operations, working directly with clients, and supporting project delivery from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day construction operations across multiple active job sites
• Support measurements, material takeoffs, and project documentation
• Help coordinate subcontractor work and inspect for quality and accuracy
• Order materials and oversee jobsite deliveries
• Run occasional supply errands to keep operations moving smoothly
• Perform light carpentry tasks and contribute to jobsite cleanliness
• Help ensure jobsite safety, security, and organization at all times

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Some experience working in the construction field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation (preferably a truck)
  • Basic English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Enthusiasm for learning and strong personal accountability
• Preferred:
  • Hands-on skills or comfort with light carpentry work
  • Desire to grow into a project management role

Schedule

• Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Work Location
Primarily in Baltimore City, with some work in other Maryland communities.

Physical Expectations & Environment
You'll be active on job sites and occasionally indoors-walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 100 pounds, using ladders/lifts, and working in all weather conditions. A positive attitude, stamina, and reliability are key.
