Job Overview

As a Construction Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, meeting with clients, and selling our construction services. You will work closely with our project manager to align materials and subcontractors to oversee projects to completion, and clients to ensure their needs are met while maintaining company profitability.

Who We Are

We are a family-owned construction company specializing in residential and light commercial projects, such as new additions, fire restoration, water damage, insurance claims, kitchen, bath, basement remodels, exteriors, and custom new builds. We take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service. We are looking for a motivated Construction Sales Representative to help drive business growth by generating leads, closing deals, and building strong client relationships.

 
 

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and pursue leads through networking, lead generation, and referrals.
  • Meet with potential clients to discuss project needs, budgets, and timelines.
  • Provide accurate estimates and prepare and present sales proposals, bids, and contracts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, business owners, contractors, and office staff.
  • Collaborate with project manager, internal teams and external subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and community events to promote the company.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in construction, home improvement, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial construction processes and terminology.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, contracts, and estimates.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (preferred).

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in estimating and bid preparation.
  • Existing network of industry contacts.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  • Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience.
