    As a Landscape Chem Care Operator, you'll be responsible for applying pesticides, mixing chemicals per manufacturer specifications, and ensuring safe and effective treatments for both residential and commercial properties.     Key Responsibilities
    • Safely mix and apply pesticides and fertilizers according to regulations.
    • Accurately read and interpret water meters for chemical applications.
    • Identify plant diseases, pests, and treatment methods based on research and testing.
    • Collect and send samples to approved laboratories for analysis when needed.
    • Maintain and ensure proper use of chemicals and equipment.
    • Keep equipment and shop areas clean, organized, and safe.
    • Assist with customer estimates for chemical services.
    • Work in collaboration with other departments, including mowing, irrigation, landscaping, holiday lighting, and snow removal.
    • Follow all company and environmental safety regulations.
    • Maintain flexible scheduling, including some Saturdays.

    Required Qualifications
    • Ability to mix chemicals per manufacturer specifications.
    • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Physical ability to push/pull up to 150 lbs. and walk several miles per day.
    • Strong English comprehension skills (reading, writing, and math).
    • Willingness to obtain necessary licensing (company provides study materials and covers testing costs).

    Preferred Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Two or more years of experience in chemical application or a related field.

    Schedule & Work Environment
    • Full-time position (40-50 hours per week during peak season, 40 hours during off-season).
