This is a hands-on role in commercial and government asphalt paving projects, where you will assist with site preparation, material handling, and asphalt application.     Responsibilities Include:
    • Assist in spreading, raking, and smoothing asphalt during paving operations
    • Prepare job sites by cleaning, grading, and setting forms
    • Work alongside the paving crew to shovel, rake, and compact asphalt
    • Operate hand and power tools such as asphalt rakes, lutes, and tampers
    • Assist with loading and unloading materials and tools at job sites
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following OSHA safety regulations
    • Support machine operators and truck drivers in asphalt placement and transport
    • Perform additional construction-related duties as assigned

    Qualifications:
    • Experience in asphalt paving or a similar labor-intensive role is preferred but not required - training is available
    • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment
    • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
    • Familiarity with basic construction tools and safety procedures
    • Must be a U.S. citizen
    • Reliable transportation to job sites

    Work Schedule:
    • Full-time position
