    Complete Development Inc. is seeking a Mechanic Assistant to support our team in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, machinery, and company vehicles. This role is essential in ensuring that our fleet operates smoothly and efficiently.     Complete Development Inc. (CDI) is a full-service site contractor specializing in earthwork, grading, underground utilities (water, sewer, and storm), building pads, and fire lines.     Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Pick up and deliver parts as needed.
    • Perform regular preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, engines, light-duty and heavy-duty trucks.
    • Pressure wash equipment and vehicles to maintain cleanliness and efficiency.
    • Travel to job sites to assist with equipment maintenance and repairs.
    • Adjust equipment and replace faulty parts to ensure proper function.
    • Diagnose and repair damaged equipment parts, performing both major and minor repairs as needed.
    • Operate heavy equipment to test repaired machinery and confirm performance.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
    • Ensure all work meets safety and operational standards.

    Qualifications:
    • Experience in mechanical work, especially with heavy equipment and vehicles, is preferred.
    • Must have own tools (a Snap-on truck visits the shop weekly).
    • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
    • Ability to lift heavy parts, work in various weather conditions, and handle physically demanding tasks.
    • Good driving record and an active driver's license required.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Work Schedule
    • Full-time position
    • Monday - Friday
    • Occasional weekends or overtime as needed

    Work Location
    • Projects primarily in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Polk counties, with occasional work in Pinellas and Orange counties.
