    Job Overview:

    Douglas H Kresge LLC is seeking an experienced Lead AV Technician to wire and install high-end audio/video and networking systems. This role requires technical expertise in AV installations, strong project management skills, and the ability to implement systems designed and programmed by our in-house team.     Key Responsibilities:
    • Wire and install high-end audio/video and networking systems in residential and commercial environments.
    • Read and implement input/output diagrams and pre-wiring plans to ensure precise installations.
    • Run and terminate Cat6 and RG-6 cabling, ensuring high-quality network performance.
    • Mount and install TVs, speakers, racks, and other AV components with precision.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve AV and networking issues efficiently.
    • Work closely with the in-house design and programming team to ensure accurate system implementation.
    • Maintain a clean and professional work environment, especially in customer homes.
    • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth project execution.

    Qualifications:
    • Education: High School Diploma required.
    • Experience:
      • 5+ years in the construction trades.
      • 3+ years installing custom audio/video systems, including:
        • Audio & video distribution systems.
        • Network wiring & installation.
    • Proficiencies Required:
      • Cable running (both retrofit and preconstruction).
      • Cable terminations (Cat6 & RG-6).
      • Mounting TVs and speakers, building equipment racks.
      • Strong understanding of networking concepts and ability to explain basic networking principles.
      • Ability to read and execute technical wiring diagrams and system plans.
      • Basic proficiency in Windows, Apple, and Android devices.
      • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
      • Must own basic low voltage installation tools.
      • Solid organizational and project management abilities.
